About Sheila
Having worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry, I decided to change direction and to develop my life-long interest in Nutrition Science, food and cooking, into a career, and to study Nutritional Therapy.I gained my Nutritional Therapy Diploma from the Raworth College School of Nutritional Therapy in Surrey, graduating with distinction, and now practice in the Milton Keynes area as a professional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
I actively keep up to date with developments in nutritional science through Continual Professional Development and nutritional research.
I am a full member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy).
What can you expect from Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a natural healthcare system that supports the body’s own healing mechanisms through the promotion of a healthy diet and lifestyle. It does not claim to cure disease but instead supports your physical, mental and emotional health by boosting the body’s biological processes of sustenance and repair – if and when it is capable of doing so. Nutritional Therapy provides a balanced approach to food choices and nutrition that considers your individual needs and lifestyle. Good nutrition helps build the body’s natural strength and resistance; however, no claim is made as to the efficacy of any nutritional protocols. The degree of benefit obtainable from Nutritional Therapy may vary between clients with similar health problems and following a similar Nutritional Therapy programme.Services Available
