MRS SARAH BUTTERWICK

Sarah Butterwick holds an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. Her theoretical orientation is based on the person centred ethos; however she integrates other approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy.
Sarah is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and a member of the UKRC (united kingdom register of counselors and psychotherapists). As part of these professional bodies, Sarah is bound by the organisations' Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
Sarah studied for four years in the field of counselling, and has gained experience working with adults, young people and couples, within counselling organisations such as Road Victims Trust (RVT), Youth Information Service (YIS) and Farthing House (Milton Keynes Mind).
Sarah has had further specialist training and has counselling experience with sudden death and traumatic bereavement issues, eating disorders, self harm, addictions, low self esteem, relationship problems, abuse, post traumatic stress disorder and anger management.
Sarah is an Associate Lecturer at Bedford College and teaches intermediate counselling students.
