Marguerite trained as a nurse in Sheffield qualifying in 1971, then working as a ward sister on a general medical ward for four years before going on to work as a specialist renal nurse in a transplant unit. After having a family she went on to work as a practice nurse in Oxford before moving to Milton Keynes where she continues to work as a primary care nurse.

Marguerite’s interest in complementary medicine started in 1993 when she sought treatment with aromatherapy and reflexology for herself. Marguerite then trained as a reflexologist with the International Institute of Reflexology, qualifying in May 1996. Since then she has gone on to study further covering courses in advanced reflexology, vertical reflexology, language of the feet, universal method and hand reflexology.

Marguerite has also studied Reiki healing and uses this to complement her reflexology treatments. More recently she has studied Flower Essence Therapy with Ian White at The International Flower Essence Repertoire learning about Australian Bush Flower Essences which she often incorporates into her treatments
