MRS HILARY BOLTON

MIFA MIFP

Hilary qualified as an Aromatherapist through the IFA, and is a registered professional member of the two leading UK & international aromatherapy organisations: the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) and the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).
As a clinical aromatherapist Hilary helps people with many different conditions, and since qualifying she has taken courses in specialist areas of clinical aromatherapy, including aromatherapy for people with cancer. Through her involvement with various support groups, she continues to develop specialist experience, and she has a particular interest in aromatherapy for people with ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Before embarking on a career in Aromatherapy, Hilary worked for many years in the HE sector – in biochemical research, science education, and equal opportunities policy development. She chose this new career path after caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease and seeing how it could relieve the symptoms of distress and agitation caused by Alzheimer’s.
“For me, aromatherapy is a joy. The lovely, fragrant essential oils of aromatherapy can lift our spirits when we feel sad, or calm us when we are troubled and tired. These exquisite oils really are nature’s gentle healers.”
